Discounts, Special Offers & Coupon Redemptions:
Discounted prices (discounts) are offered for a limited time or for a specified time or date. Gippsland Cheese reserve the right to withdraw discounts at any time without notice. Where a percentile rate (%) is offered, such discounts do not apply to taxes (GST) or shipping/freight charges. Unless otherwise stated, discounts do not apply to already discounted items/products. In the event where a discount is offered via a coupon code, such discounts must be redeemed at the time of purchase. Retrospective requests (to redeem discount coupons) cannot be accepted.

Access & Restrictions:
From time to time, access to our web site may be denied during irregular web site maintenance and/or repair scheduling, during web site upgrades and enhancements, during unexpected server downtime/failures and systems downtime/failures. Online Gippsland Cheese shall not be responsible for such access restrictions whether scheduled or not. Gippsland Cheese may, at its discretion, prevent a customer, visitor, or any other person from gaining access to our web site, for whatever reason it sees fit, through any means/technologies available at it’s disposal.
Payment:
Payment for goods purchased is not final until funds have cleared. This means that no goods or services will be provided until monies have been cleared by the relevant financial institutions, processed and approved by all parties concerned, all financial entities are satisfied that fraud, deceptive, or misleading conduct had not been carried out, and the full purchase amount received by Gippsland Cheese
Product Returns & Exchanges:
Product returns cannot be made by the customer without prior knowledge and approval of Gippsland Cheese. Customers may return unopened products sold and fulfilled by Gippsland Cheese within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, less shipping costs. Gippsland Cheese will pay the return shipping costs only if the return is a result of an error caused by Gippsland Cheese (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.); otherwise the refund will be less the cost of shipping.
Gippsland Cheese will issue an authorization number (referred herein as an ‘RMA’ number or ‘Return Merchandise Authority’ number to help Gippsland Cheese to identify approved returns for faster processing. Products returned without an RMA number visible or clearly marked on packaging will be rejected outright. Returns received in a damaged state cannot be accepted. Unless a product is faulty or defective under manufacturer’s warranty, no products can be accepted, by Gippsland Cheese, opened or in a used state. This includes the removal of any products seals, shrink wrapping, protective materials, stickers or product attachments and/or accessories.
Special orders placed by customers may not be returned for refund or exchanged. Products that have been returned under warranty and deemed by Gippsland Cheese to misused, abused, or subject to inappropriate handling cannot be accepted for a refund or exchange. Battery operated products cannot be returned unless all reasonable measures have been taken to ensure all attempts to operate the product are not battery related. Gippsland Cheese may, at its discretion, charge a 10% re-stocking fee, on returned products, in the event that a customer has changed their mind or no longer needs the product. All products returned must arrive undamaged and in ‘sale-able’ condition i.e. sealed, unopened and unused.
Shipping & Deliveries:
Gippsland Cheese take no responsibility for the delay of deliveries caused by any carrier it chooses to undertake the delivery process on its behalf. Likewise, Gippsland Cheese cannot be held liable for any burden, stress, inconvenience, hardship or financial loss such delays may cause. Customers are advised to place orders well ahead of time to ensure sufficient time is plentiful during peak periods and other unexpected delays that can occur from time to time.
For the most part, Gippsland Cheese will endeavor to dispatch orders as quickly as possible or within 24 hours of receiving the order (excluding non-working days in Victoria). Some delays of several days or more are to be expected during peak periods between October and December months. Gippsland Cheese cannot and does not accept responsibility for late deliveries whatsoever.
The customer must sign whatever forms, delivery dockets, or consignment notes are presented by the carrier prior to acceptance of the purchased goods. Refusal to sign or accept delivery from the carrier means that the customer risks their order being returned back to Gippsland Cheese. Under such circumstances, the customer acknowledges that shipping and handling fees are payable for any subsequent re-deliveries. The customer also acknowledges where costs incurred, and made payable, by the carrier in connection for any return made, will be passed on to the customer, by Gippsland Cheese, for payment prior to the handling and/or further requests or processing of the customer’s order.
Lost or Damaged Goods:
Where products ordered have arrived damaged, customers are required to notify Gippsland Cheese of any claims, regarding replacement, within seven (7) days of receipt. Gippsland Cheese will provide assistance with respect of the return, costs and the dispatch of replacement products. In the event that replacement products are unavailable or out of stock, at the discretion of Gippsland Cheese replacement stock may be ordered or a refund issued. Gippsland Cheese accept no responsibility for any delays that may arise in the ordering or delivery of such stock to our store or the subsequent delivery of replacement products to the customer.
In the event that an order is lost by the carrier, it is required of the customer to inform Gippsland Cheese within a reasonable amount of time. Any claims for lost or undelivered orders beyond 30 days of the expected delivery date, estimated by the carrier, cannot be accepted for investigation or for compensation of any kind. Gippsland Cheese may, at its discretion, accept claims that are beyond the 30 day term only if it deems that unusual or special circumstances were at play.
Customer Profile/Details:
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of their Profile/Details. Where customer contact information is inaccurate, Gippsland Cheese may decline, refuse, cancel, delay or postpone the processing of the customer’s order without notice. Failure by the customer to update or provide accurate Profile/Contact details may result in the loss/delay of deliveries by our carrier and/or risk having their payment method declined by the customers’ bank/credit union/financial institution. Gippsland Cheese not be responsible for any matters arising as a result of inaccurate information provided by the customer.
Information and correspondence submitted by Customers/Visitors:
Whilst customers are encouraged to post reviews, make comment, suggestions, questions and ideas, customers may not make obscene, threatening, or inappropriate comment that is illegal, make political or religiously motivated statements, make comments of poor taste, post false or misleading remarks that are untrue. All text, images, artwork and correspondence provided by the customer shall remain the property of Gippsland Cheese. Gippsland Cheese may, at its discretion, choose to use, reproduce, adapt, modify, distribute, publish, and display such content as it deems fit or appropriate. Reviews posted or uploaded to the Gippsland Cheese web site are the views and opinions of its customers/visitors.
