Made by artisan cheese makers, Barry Charlton and Cheryl Hulls at Berry’s Creek Cheese, Mossvale Blue is a smooth textured blue with a lightly salty and sweet aftertaste. This cheese is a multi gold award winning cheese from local food shows including Melbourne Food & Wine to winning gold at the World Cheese Awards in Birmingham in 2015. Barry has been able to craft amazing consistency in his cheese making over many years, no mean feat given the large range of variations that occur in milk during a typical season driven year. Berrys Creek Cheese now make a broad range of blue cheese, however Mossvale Blue continues to grow and achieve success with it’s distinct regional character.
